Jack Wilshere is only 23 year old and has his entire career ahead of him but he has already been compared to the likes of Andres Iniesta and Xavi Hernandez.

Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus even said that Jack Wilshere is: ‘’the perfect player’’. However, even with all the praise that he has been receiving, Wilshere struggles trying to find the first team of Arsenal.

Some of the reasons of why Wilshere hasn’t been in the starting lineup of Arsene Wenger is due to injuries while other factors are simply because he hasn’t been performing at the level required to secure a spot in the main team of the Premier League club.

In this Premier League season which concluded a few weeks ago, Wilshere only managed on making 14 league appearances.

Due to the low amounts of appearances that Wilshere has been making, a string of reports and rumors have started to emerge linking the English player to clubs such as: Manchester City and Liverpool.

These rumors that have popped up have been increasing and it has caused the player himself to step it up and shut down those claims as Wilshere said that he is only interested in remaining at Arsenal and hopefully snatch a regular spot in the main team.

When Jack Wilshere was asked if he was planning to continue his playing career with Arsenal, he replied by saying: ‘’Of course. I’ve been injured for a long time this season. I’ve worked hard. All I want to do at the minute is play football.”

Jack Wilshere is even feeling optimistic about Arsenal’s chances of capturing the Premier League title in the next season as the 23 year old player said that he believes Arsenal has a real chance of competing against the likes of: Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United and win the English title that his club has not won since May 8 of 2002.
