WILSHERE MIGHT BE BACK EARLY

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that there is every chance that England midfielder Jack Wilshere could feature for the club in the remaining few matches of the season. Jack Wilshere has been out with many injury problems this season. He has largely been absent for the season, and Arsenal have sorely missed his creativity during the middle of the campaign.

Even though they have improved sufficiently in order to stake their claim in the top three, Arsenal will certainly attract the injury to Jack Wilshere this season. There have been rumours surrounding the England midfielder that he looks set to miss the Euro 2012 as well, but Arsene Wenger has expressed his confidence that the midfielder will be able to play again for Arsenal this season.

The 20-year-old has not been part of the Arsenal first team for many months now. In his absence, the team has struggled to create chances for the strikers. Only the exceptional ability of Robin van Persie has been helping them to keep pace with the likes of Tottenham and Chelsea in the race for the top four. Now, they have secured a great advantage in the race for the top three positions after the 1-0 win over Everton in the midweek action.

“That’s a decision fortunately I don’t have to make. I will only intervene if I believe medically he is at risk. He is an England player and if he has played some games before the end of the season it is a possibility [for him to go to Euro 2012]. If he has not played at all before the end of the season I don’t think it’s realistic,” Arsene Wenger said regarding the opportunities for Jack Wilshere to take part in the Euro 2012 with the England national team.
